Video Propulsion grew from the merger of Tel-Pro, Inc., one of the areas first video production companies, and Pulse Productions. Since 2000 the principle owners, David Barker and Paul Lossowski, have expanded the company to include High Definition video production, long and short form corporate communications, broadcast and cable entertainment, advertising and web-based video.

In December 2007 Martin Leary joined Video Propulsion bringing the number of in-house producer/directors to three. David, Paul and Martin have all worked, at one time or another, as crew for broadcast television stations, as freelancers, Technical Ed teachers, adjunct professors, and at independent production companies in the Rochester area. Together they bring nearly 60 years of experience to every video production. In January 2008 Justin deBlieck joined Video Propulsion after obtaining his Associates Degree from Finger Lakes Community College. In Novermber 2008 Darryl Marshall joined Video Propulsion as Senior Motion Graphics Designer after obtaining his Master's Degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Paul Lossowski

Paul received his B.S. in Radio Television Communication from SUNY Brockport in 1986.  He has worked in video production since 1984.  Having worked for Time Warner, WXXI, Tel-Pro, Inc. and as a freelancer, Paul bought Tel-Pro, Inc. in 1994 (currently Video Propulsion, Inc.) and is one of it’s award winning Producer/Directors today.  Paul has sat on the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, been a consultant to an area college communications department, and sits on the School to Career Advisory Board for the Spencerport School District.  His hobbies include photography, bicycling, kayaking and gourmet cooking.  Email Paul

David Barker

David Barker graduated in 1983 from the University of Colorado with bachelor's degrees in Journalism and English. At various times he has worked at WXXI, Time Warner, as a freelancer for local productions, and as the director/producer for his own clients under Pulse Productions. In 1994, he became one of the first companies in the region to shoot and edit completely within digital video. In January of 2000, David joined with Paul Lossowski to form Video Propulsion, Inc. His work includes award winning national, network and local productions for clients and producers.  Email David

Martin Leary

Except for a few years spent overseas, Martin has called Rochester home all his life. He has worked in and taught marketing communications and video production for the last 20 years. As a producer/director, Martin has worked on long form and short form corporate marketing and broadcast advertising projects and has collected a few awards for it along the way.  Email Martin

Darryl Marshall

Darryl received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in Computer Graphics Design in 2008 after working in the design field for several years. Darryl specializes in Motion Graphics and Animation as well as web design. He has worked as a freelancer for advertising agencies and production companies and has won national awards for his work.  Email Darryl

Justin DeBlieck

After studying with Martin Leary in high school he freelanced for 2 years as a grip and production assistant. While building his professional resume, Justin studied audio in college and graduated with a degree in music theory and recoding technology.  Shortly after he joined Video Propulsion as a videographer, editor and grip.  Justin is also a professional musician and performer.  Email Justin
